CraftMargin Guard Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aetheris Sun LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, handles information for the CraftMargin Guard browser extension.

Data the extension reads

When you open Etsy pages, CraftMargin Guard may read visible seller workflow fields such as listing title, description, tags, price, visible listing rows, visible order summaries, visible message text, and timestamps needed for seller-facing checks. Aetheris Sun LLC uses this information only to provide the extension's seller-facing checks and tools.

Data stored locally

The extension stores settings, COGS presets, templates, usage counters, local subscription cache, referral code, audit history, and backup snapshots in chrome.storage.local.

Data shared externally

By default, seller workflow data stays local. Aetheris Sun LLC does not receive seller workflow data unless you choose a feature that sends data outside your browser. If you enable AI drafting and provide an API key, selected text you submit for rewriting is sent to OpenAI for text generation. If you open checkout, your browser visits the payment provider page. Payment details are handled by the payment provider, not by the extension.

What we do not do

• We do not sell user data.
• We do not collect browsing history outside Etsy pages covered by the extension.
• We do not scrape competitor shops, listings, or profiles.
• We do not automatically send buyer messages.
• We do not automatically post, edit, ship, renew, favorite, follow, or review on Etsy.
• We do not inject affiliate links or cookies.

User controls

You can disable AI, clear your API key, return to the Free plan cache, delete local extension data from Chrome settings, or uninstall the extension at any time.

Chrome Limited Use statement

Aetheris Sun LLC's use of information received from Chrome extension permissions adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
